Many scientists worldwide trust their valuable cultures to SN Solutions CO2 incubators because of our history of advancements. Our large portfolio of CO2 incubators delivers proven reliability, outstanding contamination control, and innovative features to achieve optimal growing conditions and experimental reproducibility for your most demanding cell cultures and lab requirements.
Highly configurable with a rich array of options and choices to suit your needs, Thermo Scientific CO2 incubators are built for performance to support your precise applications and workflow requirements. Choose the capabilities and features you need, and enjoy a higher level of confidence in your end results. The CO2 incubator simulates the growth environment of cells/tissues in vivo by simulating in the incubator. The incubator requires a temperature Range (5°C over ambient to 50°C), a stable CO2 level (5%), and a high relative saturated humidity (95%). It is a device for cell/tissue culture in vitro.
General Maintenance:
Ongoing maintenance of your incubator, other than an occasional CO2 check and calibration, is very minor. If your incubator is equipped with HEPA filtration, you should replace the HEPA filter between 6 months to 1 year. The life of a filter will depend on the number of people using the incubator and the general cleanliness of it and the laboratory, as well as the manufacturer’s design.
You should also replace the gas inlet filters (where the CO2 gas enters the incubator) between 6 months to 1 year, and simply follow the manufacturer’s recommendations for that procedure, or schedule a qualified service specialist to do it for you.
How often should you run the heat sterilization cycle? The answer depends on the cleanliness of your lab generally, how many people use the same incubator, how often the door is opened and how convenient it is for you to shut down an incubator overnight. Most users use this function from one time per month to once every six months.
